This Week's Deadpool And Wolverine Comic Gets Eerily Close To Donald Trump Assassination Attempt

Okay, this was very weird.

Do you remember when Diana died, and Wonder Woman had a comic with a newspaper headline for a cover, about how Diana had been “struck down”? Or for the week of 9/11 when suddenly every skyscraper seemed to be being knocked down in that week's comics? Especially in Superman?

Well, this is from tomorrow's Deadpool And Wolverine: WWIII #3 comic by Joe Kelly and Adam Kubert published by Marvel Comics. The week that the Deadpool And Wolverine movie is released. The day San Diego Comic-Con kicks off promoting Deadpool And Wolverine. And we get this image.

I mean, damn, right? That’s just freaky. It went to print long before the attempted assassination of Donald Trump the weekend before last and only hit comic book stores this week. And its not like Deadpool, or indeed Wolverine, are not the target of many a bullet. But for this to come out this week, San Diego Comic-Con week and movie week does seem like someone is drawing a spotlight.
